Cow Moose, Pinedale, Wyoming
In the valley below the Wind River Mountains, a cow moose comes to feed on the willows along the New Fork River in the early hours of a frosty November morning.
Photographic Thoughts: This is an example of "color minimalism" in that the colors of the main subject and its environment come from the "ROY" portion of the spectrum, while the "G. BIV" portion of the spectrum in largely absent.)
(If you took any science at all in school, you might remember Mr. Roy G. Biv, introduced to us by our teachers to help us remember the colors and order of the visible light spectrum: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.)
