My parents and ancestors all came from Buffalo, NY. So I visited The Falls many times over the years.
However, it wasn't until recently that I took my first ride on The Maid of the Mist - wet and wild! Its a short ride, but well worth it if you have never done it before. The images of Horseshoe Falls are taken from the front deck.
As we approached The Falls the light was so intense I had to squint my eyes almost closed, and the mist was so intense that my camera had no chance!
