An Amish couple's old place, Georgetown, NY. When these images were made, it was abandoned and forlorn, after a homesteading attempt by this friendly Amish couple with 3 young children.

Half of these images were made Thanksgiving Morning (11/22/2018). Arctic cold, strong wind, a foot of snow and bright sunshine to start, followed-by occasional snow bursts, which made for a crisp first-light outing before Thanksgiving dinner.

The other half were made the day after (11/23/2018) which was Arctic cold, bright sunshine and no wind.

When the couple were still in the house, there was a windmill (now gone) on the property that pulled water out of the well. The windmill is present in an older image I made in 2012 (last image in this series).
