Ittoqqortoormiit Village, 2019-09-04: is located in
Liverpool Land, east of
Hurry Fjord (Inlet) near the mouth of the northern shore of
Scoresby Sound (Kangertittivaq, in Greenlandic), which empties into the
Greenland Sea.
A seasoned arctic traveler told me that the color of an Inuit building gives some indication of the purpose of the building, or the occupation of the inhabitants. I have yet to understand whether that's actually true, or he was pulling my leg! :)
